My Trip To New Orleans

New Orleans has been a city on my bucket list for travel for awhile now and I finally got the chance to visit for a friend's wedding. First, let's talk about the food. I had THE BEST shrimp po'boy of my life, and now I don't think I can ever have another po'boy unless I'm eating it in New Orleans. I also got the chance to stop by Cafe Du Monde and try some beignets with cafe au lait, and I was not disappointed. Bourbon Street was full of life with people bar hopping while clutching the infamous grenades and hurricanes. I danced to a live brass band and loved every second of it. Visiting the riverwalk was nice and calming, getting to see the ferry shuttle people across the river. And I loved the homes in New Orleans - so many colors and perfect photo ops.

I debated for the longest whether or not I wanted to lug around my heavy camera all day. I knew there'd be a lot of walking with so much ground to cover and things to see, and carrying my camera throughout the day didn't sound appealing at all. So I decided to challenge myself and only use my iPhone 6 Plus as my camera for the entire trip. Of course, I still brought my camera along. But I didn't end up taking it out of its bag even once.

Here's my memories of New Orleans, through my iPhone lens:
