A while ago I had the opportunity to collaborate again with the beautiful dancer, Kari Twyman. Our Urban Ballerina shoot in downtown Atlanta was so much fun that I instantly thought of her when I had this new concept I wanted to put together.

I was inspired by a song I heard on HBO's tv show Big Little Lies. It was "River" by Leon Bridges, and for some reason his song just stuck with me. The more I listened to it, the more ideas for a photoshoot started to flow. I started fleshing these ideas out until I had a solid concept, then Kari and I worked together to make my concept come to life.

Over the next few weeks, I'll be discussing the details of this photoshoot more in depth. From pre-planning to wardrobe choices... from location choices to posing - I'll be sharing it all. I'll also be editing 2 photos on video and the last week will be a live Q&A on instagram to answer any questions that may come up over the first few weeks.
