Atlanta Maternity Session | Cascade Springs Nature Preserve | Kovada + Rashad
The first thing Kovada mentioned when she reached out to me about doing her maternity photoshoot was that she wanted a waterfall. Atlanta is full of hidden gems and Cascade Springs Nature Preserve is easily on that list.
We decided to do a morning shoot to take advantage of the beautiful morning golden hour, and the sun definitely didn't disappoint. Towards the end of the shoot the sun positioned itself in just the right position to shine through the trees and create some beautiful bokeh backdrops.
Kovada was wearing the prettiest green, off-the-shoulder dress from Mother Bee that complimented the greens of all the nature we were surrounded by. Towards the end of our session I was nervous that Kovada would go into labor in the middle of the forest (which she kept joking about) but thankfully we made it out of there with some beautiful images and the baby still snug in her belly.
I can't wait for these two to welcome baby Ryann into the world (which I think is THE cutest girl's name, by the way) and become parents for the first time.
