Kristin and Rick's intimate maternity session is hands-down one of my favorite maternity sessions to date. Kristin wanted a session that was intimate but still more modest than boudoir, and I knew we could make that happen.
Before we started our session Kristin admitted she was a bit nervous, but she really had nothing to worry about because she was a natural in front of the camera and the chemistry between her and her husband was everythinggg.
My favorite thing about our time together was how supportive Kristin's husband Rick was during the session. He had nothing but encouraging words for her while we were shooting, telling her how beautiful she looked and how good the shots were looking.
During our session we bonded over having twins run in both of our family lines and our similar taste in music (seriously - Kristin's pandora had THE perfect playlist for our shoot). Kristin and Rick will be giving birth to twin baby girls, Zoe and Lauren, and I love that they'll both share the same middle name as their mother.
They both admitted that they don't yet feel 100% ready for this next chapter of their life with their baby girls coming soon, but I can tell you - they are. Even with the short amount of time we spent together for their session, just being around their positive vibes made me excited for them to grow their family and welcome two little ones into their circle of love.
