Waiting in the Gardens

It’s been a while since Kari and I have gotten together for a photoshoot, but every time we do I feel like we’ve created magic. Just before we started shooting I told Kari the vibe we were going for was a woman in the French countryside waiting for her love to return to her. The romantic feel I love shooting was alive and well during this shoot and I’m in love with how this session turned out.

A note on my editing style: up until now I’ve been concerned with making sure every photo in a gallery has the exact same editing style (or as close as possible). Lately, however, I've been allowing myself the freedom to allow for small variations. Instead of focusing on each photo being exactly alike I’ve shifted to making sure the overall gallery is cohesive and exhibits my creative voice. Slight changes in color toning aren’t an issue to me, as long as the mood of the photoshoot carries throughout.
